 The amount of fat in the drawing oil produced by each factory is not the same, however, the main reason for the lubrication effect is the fat content, viscosity and the use temperature of the drawing oil.    Degree 2, resulting in uneven and incomplete oil film, resulting in direct contact area increase, increasing friction and make the products pulled out of the surface with oil spots. 3, drawing oil fat content is too high, there will be a part of free out, resulting in emulsion layering and adhesion on copper powder, suspended in the emulsion, sticky dirt mold hole, resulting in blocking the mold eye, and then disconnection. 

 

   When serious, it will even lead to the deterioration of the lubricating oil, which requires replacement of the whole pool, resulting in loss. If the drawing oil contains too much fat, the oil film must be very thin, or can not form a complete oil film.    

 

   In the process of drawing, it is easy to cause rupture, which leads to the tension of the copper wire and mold contact can not be lubricated, increased friction, will cause the following kinds of bad conditions: 1, tensile increase, will lead to frequent disconnection 2, friction increased, generate heat, oil temperature rise, increase fuel consumption 3. The surface quality of the wire rod is reduced 4, the mould, the cone loss is fast, the copper powder increases. In view of the above reasons, we choose copper drawing oil to be drawn according to the size of the diameter of the specifications to determine the amount of fat required. There is a difference between the concentration of copper drawing oil and the content of lipid, General copper pull oil in the amount of fat between 70至80%, that is, every 100 kilograms of brushed oil is only 70 to 80 kg of fat, so some use units according to the recommended concentration of the use of emulsion oil, 

 

   By 10kg of oil plus 90kg water is considered to contain fat and has reached 10%, in fact, is wrong, the actual amount of fat only 7kg to 8kg, so you need a sugar meter to detect its fat content.

 

   The specific methods are as follows: At room temperature 24 ℃, in 100ml plug cylinder, add the drawing oil crude oil 10ml, and then add distilled water to the scale 100ml, plug the cylinder cover, up and down shaking, to be fully uniform. Take sugar meter, first wash with water clean mirror with soft paper or soft cloth dry, drop a few drops with a good uniform emulsion on the mirror, clean once, wipe away. And then drip 1 to 2 drops in the sugar meter mirror, to the brightness of observation, the readings multiplied by 10 times times that of the copper drawing oil fat content.
