The high voltage power cable Connection head is used for the connection of the power cable itself, has the connection joint, the insulating middle joint, to the oil-filled power cable and the steel pipe power cable and the stopper joint and so on.
1. Common Connection Head
It is used to connect two adjacent power cables.
In the High-voltage power cable line, the connecting head of the self contained oil-filled power cable must keep the oil flow in the line core in addition to connecting the cable conductor to ensure electrical connectivity. But because the connection head is in the field manual operation, its craft condition is poor. As a result, the on-line core connection adopts the pressure-connecting condition to deal with the problem of the electric field concentration of the wire-core connection, by increasing the insulating thickness, so as to reduce the joint working strength to ensure the safe operation of the connecting head. Usually in the power cable insulation on the wrap around the insulation, increasing the ends of the insulation to form a cone-shaped surface stress cone. 2. Insulating joint
The insulation structure and the size of the insulating joint are the same as those of ordinary joints. 3. Plug-type connector
Plug-type connector is the weakest link in the electric power cable accessory, and it is also the most complex joint of the structure. It is mainly used for sweetness impregnated paper insulated power cable lines with a drop greater than the specified value, cutting off the oil circuit, preventing the high-end power cable from drying out, and the low end power cable insulation pressure exceeding the specified value.

4. Steel pipe oil-filled power cable connector
The copper pipe oil-filled power cable connector has two kinds of common connection and half plug joint.
Common connection, used for power cable manufacturing length connection, its internal insulation structure generally with the self-contained oil-filled power cable connector, the shell is a slightly larger than the power cable pipe copper pipe. Semi-stopper connector for longer steel pipe oil-filled power cable lines. It is designed to avoid the loss of a large number of power cable sleeves in the event of an oil spill, separating the oil supply Section so that the oil in the two sections is circulated through the insulating layer of the power cable or by the bypass tube.
