Difference Of Aluminum Alloy Rods Produced By Continuous Casting And Rolling Process And Horizontal Continuous Casting Extrusion Process

1. The aluminum alloy rod produced by continuous casting and rolling process is formed by continuous rolling of 13-15 racks.


The aluminum alloy rod produced by horizontal continuous casting extrusion process is first extruded into 15-18mm coarse aluminum alloy rod, and then extruded by the coarse aluminum alloy rod into 8.5-9.5mm aluminum alloy rod through a small extruding machine, which is extruded two times for two-way hot-machining.


2, the extrusion rod line density is low, the density value generally is 2.65kg/dm3, below pure aluminum line density 2.705kg/dm3, the continuous casting rolling aluminum alloy pole line density value generally is 2.725-2.73 KG/DM3, the metallographic organization is more close, the lattice structure is more stable. 3, extrusion rod resistance to high temperature performance, because of its own lattice and lattice, the arrangement tightness between lattice and compound is worse than that of continuous casting and rolling aluminum alloy rod, under the condition of continuous full load operation, conductor will have more dislocation and slip than aluminum alloy conductor at high temperature, which causes the creep resistance of the material under high temperature to decrease greatly, 


This is a hidden danger to the service life of the cable.


4, two times forming the extrusion rod is not conducive to the drawing of filaments. 5, two times forming extrusion rod 20 ℃ resistivity is high, generally 0.02887-0.02989
